Waypoints are a great way to mark important events or locations along your trail. While recording a trail, you can place a waypoint at any time at your current location. When sharing a trail as a GPX file, all waypoints from that trail will be included and exported.
This page provides an overview of how to add, edit, and delete waypoints.
Adding Waypoints
Waypoints can be added to both runner and dog trails. You can add them during the recording or afterward.
During the training
Add waypoints any time during recording at your current GPS position.
- Start recording a runner or dog trail.
- To place a waypoint, use the [ICON:add_location_alt] button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. You have two options for adding a waypoint:
- Tap the button to add a waypoint at your current location and immediately edit its details (name, icon, etc.).
- Long-press the button to add a waypoint at your current location without editing details. This allows you to quickly add a waypoint and modify it later.
Once added, the waypoint will appear on the map.
After the training
You can add waypoints after the training as well.
- Open the trail you want to add the waypoints to.
- In the top-right corner, select the Edit Waypoints option. For iOS devices, tap Edit, then choose the waypoint. For Android, tap the pencil icon to edit the waypoint.
